Alexandria Mandolin Club is an acoustic group of like minded musicians who come together to play Mandolins but also other stringed instrument's including Guitars, Banjo, ukulele, also Whistle, Fiddle, Bodhran and more we have some members who are also very competent singers

The music we play is varied selection of traditional Scottish, Irish and popular music hall tunes but there is a wide spectrum of world wide music, if we can play it on a Mandolin we will.

Where do we Meet
We meet informally Tuesday mornings 10 am till 12.00 pm in the
LAGAVULIN BISTRO Lomond Gallery, Main St, Alexandria G83 0UG

We also meet on Wednesday evening 7.00 pm till 9.00 pm ( 5th February to May and September to December email for start dates please ) in the
Alexandria Commmunity Centre Main St, Alexandria G83 0NU

Members of the Club give their time freely to entertain local groups, clubs and organisations please contact us to see if we can fit in with your requirements

The Club also Welcomes Musicians to join us please contact us or if you wish just come along and play.

Please note we do not teach insruments but will encourage those who can play no matter what stage they are playing and point them in a positive direction to develop their skills.
